Can you set up temporary power for construction?
Yes — temporary construction poles (T-poles) are routine for us. We set the pole, the utility energizes it, and your trades have power for the duration of the build. When the structure is ready, we install the permanent service and the T-pole comes out.
What size service do I need?
It comes down to a load calculation, not a guess. A typical home runs well on 200A; add a shop with welders, an EV charger, or a future pool and the math changes. We run the load calc as part of the site visit so the service you pay for matches the way you'll actually use the property.

They installed my new electrical panel and also took care of some things I had been dealing with for over a year, including installing my ceiling fan, replacing my bathroom light, and fixing my kids’ light that wouldn’t turn off with the switch. What I appreciated most was how kind, patient, and honest they were with me. They took the time to explain everything and even took care of a few of those extra repairs at no additional charge. It honestly meant a lot to me to finally have these things fixed and working the way they should. I even had to cancel our original appointment the same day because of a family emergency, and he was incredibly understanding. When I rescheduled and explained I needed the work sooner, Mark fit me in. He and his assistant Abel didn’t just replace an outlet—they evaluated the existing setup, explained why we were having problems, identified what needed to be brought up to code, and gave us a practical solution so we could safely charge our car and connect our RV. Responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and dependable. Chosen 1 Electric is a newer local business, but Mark’s experience as a Master Electrician shows.
